Codeplay Runner's up at IET Innovation Awards

Codeplay's Sieve C Multicore Programming System was awarded the runner-up prize in this years IET Innovation in Engineering award. The winners of the awards, across 15 categories, were unveiled at an award ceremony held at the Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square, London, hosted by TV personality and science enthusiast Johnny Ball.

Codeplay entered the IT category with its Sieve System, a programming system aimed at solving the problems facing the software industry with the introduction of multi-core processors and the complexity of writing scalable parallel software.

The award in this category was won by global telecommunications giant BT, with their Real Time Business Intelligence system.

Codeplay Founder and CEO Andrew Richards commented "We are very pleased to have reached the final stage down to the last 2 competitors of such a prestigious award."
